It is lovely to be reminded of a special holiday where you were visiting or travelling through a desert and seeing cacti plants in all shapes and sizes. When they are in flower, beautiful blooms in strong colours adorn the prickly plants.
I have designed this special vase with three openings, wherein three flowers can rest so the sculptured Cactus looks as if it is in flower. Cacti lovers and people who like the presently fashionable Cactus creations, will like this functional sculpture! It could be a housewarming gift and would look right just about anywhere in a living environment. Any age group will love it.
The vase was hand-built in stoneware clay, fired in a kiln three times. Underglaze colours were applied and glaze.
The vase measures ca 19cm tall, 12cm wide and 4cm deep.
